City Council's Special Committee (Pansus) starts to review drafts of Perda No. 16/2010 about Parking Tax together with Jakarta Tax and Retribution Agency (BPRD) chapter by chapter.

We start to review revision drafts of Perda No. 16/2010 about Parking Tax

"We start to review revision drafts of Perda No. 16/2010 about Parking Tax. Because it is not ideal anymore for current condition," said Abraham Lunggana, Head of City Council's Pansus, Tuesday (5/22).

Bapemperda-BPRD Review Parking and PJU Tax Raperda

Jakarta BPRD Head, Edi Sumantri explained, Perda No. 16/2010 about Parking Tax needs to be revised since it is no longer relevant with current regulation and achievement target.

He gives an example for this year's parking tax which is targeted to reach Rp 680 billion or 37 percent higher than last year's target Rp 500 billion.

Meanwhile, its realization until today only reaches Rp 218 billion or 31.84 percent from the target on same day of last year which is 40 percent. "So it is still deficit," he conveyed.

Based on that consideration, he suggested raperda to focus in five chapters where chapter 1 regulates about General Terms, chapter 3 Tax Object, chapter 6 Tax Imposition Basis, chapter 12 Transition Requirements, and chapter 7 Tax Rate.

"We also conveyed our recommendation regarding tax rate change from 20 into 30 percent based on UU no. 28 which is stated that the highest rate is 30 percent," he affirmed.
